Concept Corrupted Vision

The second prototype showcases the dialog and structure that we want for the game. This prototype is made on a game enegine called Twine. To incorate the concept I added no assets and heavily focused on the dialog between characters. In the prototype you’ll have tasks to complete. The primary mechanic is focusing on remembering the NPCs name,order items address and other details that can be of use of the player. The player has to pick the correct options to complete the tasks and progress to the next one.

 

The playtest showed that players enjoyed interacting with the dialog but due to no visuals didn’t find it immersive and found the game too easy especially when players can go back and look at the task. They found the dialog cheerful and calm which accuractly fits the games moods and enjoyed the underlining story in the prototype

 

 

Next concept is Time

Question for next playtest

Is having a time/plant cycle immersive?

Does having a plant animation cycle convenient to the player?

Should there be a clock/time during the cycles?

Would the player like to do time skipping during the time cycle?
